
Place d'Orleans Facebook Fan Drive
BSL continues to witness the positive impact of social media on various marketing initiatives. Most recently this has been affirmed for our client at Place d’Orleans. The shopping centre has strategically leveraged their Facebook Fan Page to promote two contests in 2010 to increase audience engagement. Both contests used the social network vehicle as a platform to spread campaign messaging and to award loyal Facebook followers with prize incentives – helping to foster stronger customer relationships in the long run. With notably positive outcomes resulting from both initiatives (including an 800% increase in Place d’Orleans followers), the value of Facebook as a promotional platform is becoming increasingly clear to both BSL and our clients.
