
The Big Three:
NAC Subscription Brochures
With the success of last year’s BSL-designed NAC Orchestra Brochure, we were asked to produce not only the 2010 Subscription Brochure, but those for two additional NAC disciplines, English Theatre and Dance, as well! We were excited about the opportunity, as a subscription brochure not only reveals the programming choices and expresses the vision of the Artistic Director — it truly sets the tone for the entire season. Not to mention the entire marketing campaign that follows.
Simultaneously developing not one, not two, but three multi-page, full-colour print pieces with high-production value and strict deadlines presented an interesting challenge. And since Orchestra, Theatre and Dance each has its own distinct messaging and tone, careful strategic and creative consideration was required before our production team could even begin the work.
Fortunately, we were able to draw on the wealth of experience gained since becoming Agency of Record for the National Arts Centre in 2006. As a result, we were able to navigate the unique requirements for each discipline — and their respective audiences — to deliver stunning, on-brand, results-driven marketing pieces with targeted imagery and messaging.
